New Release Spring Morning and a Free Sampler

Happy New Years!!!!!

I really wanted to do a ‘big’ year in review post this evening but I seem to be running out of time. Personally, this has been a year of great joy and great loss for our family. Professionally, I have had the opportunity to work with people I admire and to be able learn and grow by leaps and bounds with some of the best designers in the industry.

A Brief ‘Personal’ Year In Review

To start the year we celebrated our boys third birthday, a Thomas the Tank Engine party of course. The boys still LOVE trains with all their hearts and I’m sure this passion will continue for years to come.

March was a big accomplishment for my babies. They were now officially big boys wearing big boy undies!!! The boys took to potty training so quickly and we were so proud of them.

In May we attended the Jazz Festival as we do every year. The boys love listening to all the amazing musicians and spending a day down by the river.

June was marked with another great achievement, riding big boy bikes for the first time. The boys were so proud of themselves and couldn’t wait to show their bikes to everyone.

July was marked with many fun adventures. Miniature golfing for the first time, finding a new love in bowling and visiting the fish hatchery all topped their list.

In August the boys attended their first ever baseball game. They seemed to enjoy the toys they bought more than the game itself until the mascot came to take a photo with them. They just loved the mascot.

October was as fun as it could ever be. The boys visited three pumpkin patches, rode a ghost train, attended a festival celebrating chickens, baked their first batch of cookies and dove head first into crafting. This would be the beginning of a strong addiction to craft time.

November was filled with family time and love. I brined my first turkey for my parents on Thanksgiving and I will forever brine my birds from now on. Simply marvelous! The biggest event in November and the ones my boys will remember the most, was rescuing and adopting our new Boxer pup Roxy.

December was an amazing month to finish out the year. It snowed and the snow stuck in Sacramento for the first time in 20 some years, the boys wrote, mailed and received letters from Santa, and the most exciting event of all was our train ride to the North Pole aboard the Polar Express.

Would you look at that, I guess I did have the time for a brief year in review. LOL! As I look back I am grateful for the memories of this past year. I am grateful for my family and friends, and all the new friends I have made this year in the digital scrapbooking industry and I hope we have the opportunities to make many more wonderful memories in the new year.
