With Independence Day just a couple of weeks away, I thought it was time to start thinking about the good ole red, white and blue.

What are you favorite 4th of July photographs? Do you have a photograph you take each year in the same place? How about a family reunion? The holiday weekend is a great opportunity to document family and friends with annual photographs.

The boys got their annual Old Navy Flag shirts yesterday and I’m already beginning to plan what type of fireworks photographs I want to get. Last year was the first year the boys wanted to hold sparklers, though the sparklers around here are nothing like the sparklers I had when I was growing up. I remember as a kid if you held the sparkler the wrong way and the wind blew the sparkles would land on your arm and burn. LOL! It was all worth it though.
